It is to the great credit of this tenacious and talented side, that we are now facing the A teams of local schools, and indeed those of far away. With the line punching power of Felix, Theo, Roy and Andrew in the side, it is little wonder.

Hamish, as captain, gave the perfectly weighted balance of grit, aggression and compassion, taking Paul off, Max with his shoulder (from repeatedly careering into the opposition pack), Marcus with his fine swerving runs, Lucas with his steadfast defending and loping attacking stride.

Charlie was immense at the breakdown and skilled in the pass - a joy to behold. Tommy and Timo were nippy, brave and chatty (always chatty!) David improves by the minute and Jamie won us the match at the very last.

To win against such opposition is the stuff of legend. Once again, the legend of the U13B team continues....
